In order to combat the heightened anxiety from everything that has happened this year, I have started to take 5 mins every morning to practice a bit of gratitude. Some days are easier than others, and sometimes I need to think really hard to not repeat myself every day.
Practising gratitude helps me to generally start the morning in a happier state and helps me to put some of the problems into perspective. If you are keen to start practising gratitude, grab a pen and a journal and write down 5 or more things you are grateful for. I highly recommend it.
